The Town of Brentwood has Finally Received the New Bartlett Park Water Fountain. After delays due to Backordered Parts, the New Water Fountain will be worked on and will be Installed no later than Monday, July 15, 2024. 

We are ecstatic to share that the new Water Fountain will include a Bottle Filling Station, you can now bring your own bottle and enjoy the refreshing water. If the Fountain is installed before the Date Mentioned (Monday, July 15, 2024) a Notice will be sent out Via News You Can Use.

Northwest Branch Trail Alert, Bridge Closure:  

A short section of the NW Branch Trail will be closed for repair of the bridge across the stream.

Bridge Location: Between Queens Chapel Road and Queenstown Apartments; Near the West Hyattsville Metro Station

Duration: Monday July 15, 2024 until approx. August 16, 2024

Detour: A signed detour will be in place using 34^th St/Chillum Road and the new sidewalk along Queens Chapel Road (Approximately 3 blocks)

The signalized crossing at Queens Chapel will remain accessible for safe access to Metro.

Nature of the Work: Replace Decking and Repair Decking Supports

NORTHWEST BRANCH TRAIL AVISO, CERRA EL PUENTE: 

Se cerrará un tramo corto del sendero NW Branch para reparar el puente que cruza el río.

Ubicación del puente: Entre Queens Chapel Road y Queenstown Apartments; cerca de la estación de metro de West Hyattsville

Duración: Lunes 15 de julio de 2024 hasta aproximadamente el 16 de agosto de 2024

Desvío: Habrá un aviso de desvío utilizando 34th St/Chillum Road y la nueva acera a lo largo de Queens Chapel Road (aproximadamente 3 manzanas).

El cruce señalizado en Queens Chapel permanecerá accesible para un acceso seguro al Metro.
